Mill End cancellation policy
Mill End recommends you maintain any travel or holiday insurance policy in case you need to cancel your booking. It is solely your responsibility to do this, be it an annual travel policy or via an extension through your bank or home insurance provider.
All funds paid to us, including house hire deposits, are non-refundable.
If you, the main booker, needs to change your booking, you may request to transfer your deposit monies to another date within the same financial year. Transfer of bookings is subject to availability. A transfer fee may be levied.
If you want to transfer your date, Mill End will give you 100% of your deposit if up to 12 weeks prior, 50% if between 12 and 8 weeks prior and nothing if within 8 weeks prior as it is unlikely that the weekend will re-let at short notice.
If, solely as a result of Mill End error or breach, Mill End is obliged to cancel your booking, regardless of how soon to a stay date, Mill End will transfer your booking to a suitable alternative date prioritizing your wishes.
We will not be liable for any failure to honour a booking, or any resultant loss, that results from one of the following events: force majeure, pandemic, any law or action taken by a government or public authority, including failure to grant necessary consents or licences; terrorist attack or civil war; epidemic or pandemic; nuclear, chemical or biological contamination; collapse of buildings, fire, flood, drought, earthquake or other natural disaster or act of God.
If you want to be fully covered it is your responsibility to take out your own adequate insurance. Sorry!
